Kyle R. Tau, Associate

Kyle R. Tau handles complex commercial litigation matters, representing plaintiffs and defendants across a range of industries.

During law school, Kyle served as judicial extern for the Honorable Steven D. Grimberg of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Kyle was also actively involved in the Health Law Partnership Legal Services Clinic, providing legal services to clients to address social determinants of health in collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Morehouse and Emory University schools of medicine.

Kyle earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the Georgia State University College of Law, graduating first in his class. While in law school, he served as an associate research editor for the Georgia State Law Review and was a pupil in the Bleckley Inn of Court. Kyle was recognized 11 times by the CALI Excellence for the Future Award program for outstanding achievement in courses covering a wide range of topic areas.

Prior to law school, Kyle served as an ecumenical staff officer for the Council of Bishops of The United Methodist Church and as an adjunct professor at Emory University.

He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Point Loma Nazarene University, Master of Theological Studies at Candler School of Theology and a Ph.D. in Theological Studies from Emory University. He is also an ordained deacon in The United Methodist Church.
