Bondurant Mixson & Elmore Remembers Our Friend and Partner Jeffrey O. Bramlett
With a heavy heart, we remember a giant of the bar, our partner and a friend to us and to so many, Jeff Bramlett. Our firm - lawyers and staff - have been privileged to have had the opportunity to work with and to have been inspired by Jeff for so many years. There was never a wrong that Jeff did not want to right. He was truly the lawyer’s lawyer - often hired by other lawyers and law firms to handle their most pressing needs. But what Jeff was most proud of, and what we want others to remember about Jeff, was his empathy for the downtrodden and his representation of those most in need of not just competent representation but the very best.
We commemorate Jeff’s many years of service - to the Atlanta Bar, the ACLU, the American Constitution Society, and most importantly for Jeff, the State Bar of Georgia. The lawyers and citizens of our state have lost a great leader.
There was only one thing that Jeff loved more than his fellow lawyers, and that was his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeff’s wife, Nancy, and all of their children and grandchildren.
For those at our firm who had the honor of working with Jeff, some of us for nearly 35 years, our loss is immense. We are grateful to have known and loved him so long and cannot begin to describe how much we will miss him.
