Bondurant Mixson & Elmore Representing Atlanta against Georgia Governor Brian Kemp in the COVID-19 Mask Mandate Lawsuit

Bondurant Mixson & Elmore LLP, an Atlanta, Georgia-based litigation powerhouse, has been retained by the City of Atlanta to defend against Governor Brian Kemp’s July 16, 2020 lawsuit challenging the City’s authority to protect its citizens. At issue is Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms’s authority to enforce a mandate to, among other things, wear face masks to stop the spread of COVID-19.
