Represented Bausch & Lomb in litigation against Ciba Vision involving claims of trademark infringement, patent infringement, and patent invalidity.
Represented UCB Societe Anonyme and UCB Pharma, Inc. in a patent infringement suit concerning an anti-epilepsy drug against Mylan Laboratories and Mylan Pharmaceuticals.
Successfully defended a plastics manufacturer and its owners against trade secret and confidentiality claims following a failed merger. The case was the first to interpret Georgia’s trade secrets statute of limitations.
Served as co-counsel to Gator Corporation (later Claria Corporation) in multi-district litigation alleging its pop-up ads violated website owners’ copyrights and trademarks. Successfully defended against claims brought by Fortune 100 companies and major national firms.
Defeated claims of unauthorized use of trademarked candy machines following the termination of a licensing agreement.
Represented PepsiCo and Rapak in patent litigation brought by Coca-Cola involving three patents related to soft drink syrup packaging for soda fountains.
