He has significant experience representing direct selling, manufacturing, and financial services companies.
Recognized by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in general commercial litigation and antitrust, Edward has also been honored by Super Lawyers since 2004. He is a frequent lecturer and has published articles on trial practice and corporate litigation, including topics such as covenants not to compete and internal investigations.
Represented defendant in a breach of contract and fraud case brought by representatives of a major direct selling company seeking over $10 million. The district court granted summary judgment on the plaintiff’s claims, and the case settled after a trial on the defendant’s attorney’s fees claim.
Served as lead counsel in AAA arbitration for a family-owned business against its exclusive distributor, alleging breach of contract and Lanham Act violations. The panel awarded over $1 million in damages, attorney’s fees, and injunctive relief.
