For more than 30 years, Edward Krugman has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of legal matters, including trade secrets, unfair competition, intellectual property, antitrust, employment, and corporate governance litigation and counseling. He has significant experience representing direct selling, manufacturing, and financial services companies.
Recognized by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in general commercial litigation and antitrust, Edward has also been honored by Super Lawyers since 2004. He is a frequent lecturer and has published articles on trial practice and corporate litigation, including topics such as covenants not to compete and internal investigations.
Represented defendant in a breach of contract and fraud case brought by representatives of a major direct selling company seeking over $10 million. The district court granted summary judgment on the plaintiff’s claims, and the case settled after a trial on the defendant’s attorney’s fees claim.
Served as lead counsel in AAA arbitration for a family-owned business against its exclusive distributor, alleging breach of contract and Lanham Act violations. The panel awarded over $1 million in damages, attorney’s fees, and injunctive relief.
