Bondurant Mixson & Elmore LLP is proud to announce Amber Greenaway has been appointed to The Appellate Project’s (TAP) development committee by the organization’s board of directors.

TAP is the first and only nonprofit dedicated to providing innovative and impactful resources to train law students of color for careers in appellate law, ensuring the U.S.’ highest courts and their legal decisions genuinely reflect the diversity of the nation’s communities.

As a member of the development committee, Greenaway will engage with donors and explore grant opportunities to bolster the nonprofit’s impact. Additionally, she will be responsible for helping strategize and oversee various initiatives to support TAP’s mission.

Greenaway represents a range of clients, from The American Civil Liberties Union to the City of Atlanta, in civil litigation and appellate matters. Notably, she was part of the legal team alongside the ACLU of Georgia, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Center for Reproductive Rights and SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective that challenged Georgia’s six-week abortion ban.

She graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, and summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts from Augusta University.
